Warzone Bans 60,000 Cheaters and Improves Anti Cheat

Call of Duty officially announced another Warzone ban wave last night, the 2nd biggest to date with 60k cheaters being banned, but many players are still left doubting if this made any difference. But clearly the Vikkstar vid has had an impact on Activision’s communication around hackers.

    Details anti cheat from activision:

Of course 60,000 banned accounts amounts to a drop in the bucket for a free-to-play game like Warzone where many of these banned players can find ways to make more accounts under new IP addresses. You’ll likely still encounter hackers in Warzone long after this latest ban wave, but at least Activision takes some action to solve the problem.

Hope you enjoy. Have a nice day!
