Nickmercs says 343 studios has chalked the Halo series, saying that Bungie handed them the ball, and then 343 dropped it immediately and has just kept dropping it ever since.
Nickmercs loves Halo, saying that Halo is the GOAT of FPS titles, and one of the greatest games ever…but the Twitch star has no love for the current devs of the game, 343 studios, and very low expectations for the new Halo Infinite. In a long football analogy, Nickmercs says 343 was handed the ball with halo, got sacked 2 times in a row, lost 10 yards, and then tried a 3 yard pass on 3rd and 20.
But is Halo Infinite really doomed to be chalked on release the way Nickmercs seems to think…especially with the battle royale mode Dr Disrespect, Courage, and so many more are hoping for? There are still some diehard Halo fans on Twitch, with Ninja hosting his second throwback Halo tournament this weekend, and of course we have the whole HCS scene with commitments from 9 huge orgs like NAVI, Sentinels, Cloud9, and G2 just to name a few.

So is 343 just never going to put out a good title the way Nickmercs fears, or will support from streamers like Ninja and the orgs in the HCS make Halo Infinite their first success? We will find out when the game launches next month.
