Ludwig Banned on YouTube 72 Hours After Twitch Switch

Within 72 hours of signing the biggest deal of his life to switch from Twitch to YouTube…YouTube has banned Ludwig live on one of his first streams.

Ludwig’s move to YouTube from Twitch got a lot of streamers talking about the two platforms, and which one paid the best or treated them the best, with TimTheTatman, Valkyrae, Pokimane and more all weighing in on which platform was the best to work with. But all that took a backseat when, live on Ludwig’s stream, YouTube banned him just days after signing him to a huge contract.

Ludwig joked about the ban on twitter, tweeting an image of his stream being unavailable that he captioned “you could say the switch has been going well…”, to which Valkyrae responded “it was a good two days” and TimTheTatman just replied “ROFL”. Apparently Ludwig had played too much of the children’s song “baby shark” on stream and got banned for a DMCA violation, which is ironic considering how heavily he talked about being able to play music in his video announcing the YouTube move.

The YouTube ban on Ludwig is just a temporary one, and he’s expected back on the platform any day now, but it does have to be the new speed record for the quickest ban on a platform you just signed a huge deal with.
